Dear Laurie:
Thank you for your loving comment. You and I have similar views and approach this subject of connections through different media: you with music and art, myself with psychology. The end result is the same: relationships need to be celebrated because they make us who we are.
I will listen to your music, as you are very insightful and sensitive. I am sure your music reflects these traits.

I am getting ready to open a facebook page on emotional connections and would like to invite you to become a fan.
It should be finished ina week or two.

Yes, I feel strongly that human relationships are vital to our well being. My relationships with my family in particular are important to me. When a log truck killed my brother, we all upheld one another and worked out our grief together. My church community also supports me. Also, your comment about a pet being comforting is true too. When my then 5 year old heard the news of his uncle, he didn't have anyone to talk to. Bless his heart, we overheard him explaining what happened to our cat!
Since that time, I've written some songs including one called, "The People We Love" in which the chorus emphasizes, "the people we love never leave us, like a gem that is set in our soul, it sparkles whenever we think of their name, the people we love make life whole." I think that through our relationships is how love endures.
